ACT is a sister company of Cattrell Hudson, an established engineering recruitment business. Our portfolio of solid and surface modelling courses embodies all our experience gained from working for over 10 years supplying OEM's and 1st tier suppliers with bespoke services. The sectors we primarily support are Automotive, Aviation and Marine and all the elements in our training programme are derived from our understanding of these sectors. Candidates that attend the Alias or ICEM surf courses are given the expertise and skills required to use these software packages alongside more engineering focused packages. This feature is a key example of how our training is directly influenced by industries' needs.

The principal software packages we offer training on are CATIA V5, ICEM surf and Alias. They are at the pinnacle of CAD modelling and we have witnessed their growth and development within technical sectors that demand the very highest of standards. 

Our courses objectives

Our courses are designed to help attendees initiate the usage of the aforementioned software packages. They are also aimed at increasing your capabilites and improve your performance on software you may already use.

A Certificate recognised by industry and a full copy of the course notes will also be supplied to help attendees maintain the highly concentrated information they will receive during their time with us.

For a completed 6 month placement ACT will reimburse 25% of the course cost.

For a completed 12 month placement ACT will reimburse 50% of the course cost.

 Government Funding

ACT and our sister company Cattrell Hudson work in conjunction with our local Chamber of Commerce, Business Link and the Learning Skills Council. Once your company has registered interest in our training programme we will ascertain your eligibility with regard to potential recourse to government funded training.
